Membership Information

If you enjoy gardening and would like to share your love with other fun, like-minded people, we are the group for you. Or, maybe you are just starting out as a gardener and would like to learn more – again a perfect fit.

We are an active club with a lot of projects and events. We plant and maintain several public gardens in the Cedarburg area, and are involved in 2-3 fundraisers each year to provide funds for our contributions to local civic and charitable organizations. In addition, we have monthly meetings that include interesting speakers who talk about garden related topics. Add to that an annual bus trip to a botanical garden or arboretum and a tour of our own member gardens and it makes a great gardening year.

Please contact us at cedarburggardenclub@gmail.com for more information. We look forward to hearing from you !

How do I join?

Our programs are held primarily on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm at the Cedarburg American Legion Post. Come to one meeting and if you like what you see, come to a second meeting and you can join right then. Or email us at cedarburggardenclub@gmail.com. Membership is $30 annually.

I'm a novice gardener. Will I be able to learn from the 'ground' up?
Yes, you will be assigned a mentor who will help you with getting to know other members, choose the right committee and garden for you to work on , and be there for you when you have questions.
Where is the Cedarburg Legion Post?

How involved will I get?

We are a very active club. Each member will be asked to work on a club garden and serve on a committee. Each member must work at the annual Plant Sale. You must attend at least five (5) business meetings per year. Being this involved also means you’ll meet other like-minded gardeners.

Do I have to live in Cedarburg?
No. Our members come from neighboring communities such as Mequon and Grafton.
Where do the proceeds go from the fundraisers?
We donate to city and county organizations for beautification and also to organizations that protect our environment. We also provide scholarships for MATC Horticulture students. Read more about our donations.
What happens at the monthly meetings?

Our club gardens are located at:
